This policy does not apply to any 3rd party services that we use on our website. For information about the policies of the 3rd party services that we use, we refer to their privacy policy.

Data we collect about you

When you register for an account on our website, we collect your:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Residential country.

We collect this information so we can contact you if there is any issues or misunderstandings regarding your order or payment, and for account purposes on our website.

Your are Anonymous when you browse my website:

The website only collect anonymous data including.

• Browser and device data, such as IP address, device type, operating system, the language of your device and browser name.
• Usage data, such as what pages a user visit, how much time a user spent on each page, what link a user clicked and the page that the user to our website.

We collect this information for statistical purposes only and we use Google Analytics to analyze the data and to diagnose technical issues.

BiochemNordic does not collect or store your payment details. All payment related information is handled by Stripe, please refer to their privacy policy.

We do not share your data: 

BiochemNordic does not sell, rent or give access to your data to anyone outside of the 3rd parties listed below:

• Stripe: Your Email address to link your payment to your BiochemNordic account.
• Our service provider can access information about your IP address, device type, browser name and version, time and date for your visit.
• Google Analytics receives information about your IP address, device type, operating system name, the language of your device, browser name, and Usage data, such as what pages you visit, how much time you spent on each page, what links you clicked and the page that led you to our website. Please refer to their privacy policy for more information.
• MailPoet: Receives your email address, when you subscribe to our newsletter, please refer to their privacy policy for more information.
• Our website administrator can access your account information in case of account errors

How long do we store your data:

BiochemNordic stores your information for as long as it is necessary to conduct business with you. Our hosting provider stores information about your visit up to 7 days after you last visited our site. If you no longer wish to do business with us, all your data is removed from our website and backup archives after 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to gain access to your personal information at any time. All the information BiochemNordic stores about you can be accessed on your account/profile page.

You have the right to have your personal information deleted at any time. Deleting your account will also delete all the information we store about you.

You have the right to revoke your consent regarding your personal data. To revoke your consent you must delete your account information. If you do no longer want to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe from it by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.

In order to exercise your rights, you may contact us at [email protected]. You can also contact us if you have any questions regarding this policy. If our response to you is not to your satisfaction, you must contact the data protection agency for your country.

BiochemNordic is based in the EU, and all our data collection, processing and storing is done in accordance to the EU General Data Protection Regulation of May 25. 2018. If you are not an EU citizen, we make no difference in how we handle or protect your data.

Updates to this policy

We may change this policy at any time if it is necessary for the services we use or the way we process or store your information. If we change the policy, we will notify you about the changes via the Email address you have shared with us. The date the policy was last changed, will always be at the top of the policy.

BiochemNordic uses cookies on its website for a number of different purposes. Some are necessary for the website to work, and some are used to add convenience and enhance the experience on our website.

We place cookies from biochemnordic.com to keep registered users logged in, and to maintain the session between our server and your browser. These cookies are essential for the site to work, but can be deleted once you no longer use the site.

We also place a number of 3rd party cookies from google.com that is used for statistical purposes, sharethis.com that is used for convenient article sharing, and from youtube.com if there is an embedded video on the page you read.
